フラワーデザインとセンス

『「センス」ですよね…』という声をよく聞きます。センスって漠然としていてよくわからないけど、センスが良いとかってことに憧れの念のようなもの抱いちゃいますよね。
私は、フラワーデザインに関してもそのほか例えば生き方なんかに関しても、センスというものはつまりいくつかの構成要素によって作られるものだと思っています。一つは思考すること。もう一つは感覚。そして哲学。これらの要素が研ぎ澄まされてバランスされて成長していくものではないかな？つまり、数パーセントは天性かもしれないけれど、残りは継続的に意識し続ける努力によって作られると思います。
仮に、天性でセンスの良い人がいてその人は自分のセンスが良いことに気づいていてそのことに安心して驕り、何も感覚を磨くこと、思考することをしなかったら、それらの努力を日々している人に越されてしまう日がきっとくるのでしょう。
そして一番大切なのは『良くなりたい』という強い“思い”だと思います。
お花は好きなんだけど、できるかなぁと心配でなかなか初めの一歩が踏み出せない方もいらっしゃるのかもしれません。大丈夫。安心して挑戦して楽しんでください。
